The Stowe Recreation Path is a beloved 5.3-mile multi-use trail running from Stowe village to the Topnotch Resort, following the West Branch River through the Mountain Road Corridor past farms, covered bridges, and the steepled Stowe village center. The path is ideal for cycling, walking, and inline skating in summer and cross-country skiing in winter, and provides the most attractive route between the village amenities and the ski resort base. Hotels along the Stowe Recreation Path combine easy pathway access with the pleasures of Vermont's most sophisticated mountain village.
