Spruce Peak
The Lodge at Spruce Peak
Stowe's premier ski-in/ski-out luxury resort boasts stunning mountain views, award-winning spa, and multiple dining options.
- Ski-in/ski-out
- Luxury spa
- Family friendly
Mount Mansfield at 4,393 feet is Vermont's highest peak, its long ridge resembling a human face in profile — the Forehead, Nose, Chin, and Adam's Apple visible from the valley below. In summer the Long Trail traverses the full ridge and the toll road to the summit provides access for non-hikers. The alpine zone above the treeline contains rare Arctic tundra plants similar to those found in Labrador and is a state nature preserve. Hotels in Stowe village provide year-round access to Mount Mansfield — as the ski mountain in winter and as a hiking destination in summer.
