Tenby has four beautiful beaches — North Beach, South Beach, Castle Beach, and Harbour Beach — framed by the medieval town walls and the colourful Georgian townhouses that make the harbour one of the most photographed in Wales. The wide sandy South Beach in particular is excellent for families, with the Caldey Island ferry adding an interesting day trip to a Cistercian monastery.
