The Paphos Archaeological Park is one of the most important ancient sites in the eastern Mediterranean, a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the extraordinarily detailed Roman mosaic floors of four ancient villas — considered among the finest mosaics in the world — along with the Tombs of the Kings, early Christian basilicas, and medieval fortifications. The mosaics vividly depict scenes from Greek mythology including Theseus, Dionysus, and Poseidon.
