The V&A Dundee, which opened in 2018 on the River Tay waterfront, is the first V&A museum outside London and the only design museum in Scotland, housed in a spectacular Kengo Kuma-designed building whose prow-shaped facade of textured concrete panels rises above the Tay in a form inspired by Scottish cliff faces. The 6 hotels below are the best-rated places to stay within 2.2 km of V&A Dundee, listed closest first. Guest scores and distances come from Booking.com, checked September 2026.
