Johnston Canyon is the most popular hike in Banff National Park, a spectacular limestone canyon walk along metal catwalk systems bolted to the cliff faces above the turquoise Johnston Creek, leading to the Lower Falls, Upper Falls, and beyond to the Ink Pots — a series of extraordinary cold mineral springs that bubble up in brilliant shades of green and blue from the canyon floor. The 6 hotels below are the best-rated places to stay between 10.2 km and 21 km from Johnston Canyon Banff, listed closest first.
