• Falls illumination show — Horseshoe Falls, viewed from Queen Victoria Park. Nightly at 6, 7 and 8pm during the festival (2025 schedule).
• Festival fireworks — Over the Falls, viewed from Queen Victoria Park. In 2025 at 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and nightly from 25 December to 4 January.

Where to stay

• Fallsview and Clifton Hill: Closest to the Falls, the light show and the attractions, so you can walk in the cold only when you want to.
• Lundy's Lane: Away from the Falls, with parking, restaurants and a few km to Queen Victoria Park.
• Niagara-on-the-Lake: A quiet historic town about a 20 to 30 minute drive from the Falls.
